                                Dearborn Country Club

The Dearborn Country Club was created in 1923 by the legendary Henry Ford himself, who instructed his general secretary to "lay out a good, practical golf course that any and everybody could use."  Mr. Ford then procured the services of nationally known golf course architect, Donald Ross, to design the original course.  Famed architect Albert Kahn was then engaged to design the beautiful English Tudor-style Clubhouse that Mrs. Ford envisioned as a log structure.

In 1966, the  golf course was re-designed by golf course architect C. E. Robinson.  The addition of knolls, valleys, lakes and an overall increase in the size of the greens, resulted in what has truly become one of the most challenging, yet playable championship 18 holes of golf found in the State of Michigan.

Dearborn Country Club has had the honor of hosting the PGA Champions Tour, "Tournament Players Championship". as well as having been host to two LPGA events as well as Players the likes of Arnold Palmer, Jack Niklaus, Lee Trevino, Gary Player, Nancy Lopez and Kathy Whitworth have all graced their manicured fairways and beautiful greens.

Voted by the Detroit News as one of the  "Top 3 Private Country Clubs" in Southeastern Michigan in 2004, Dearborn Country Club continues its fine tradition of offering its members a place where they can get away from the every day pressures.  With their outstanding Junior Golf Program, as well as their competitive swim team, the Dearborn Country Club is truly a place where golfers and families can come to play.

Fine golf and good companionship are the hallmarks of a great country club and Dearborn Country Club is rightfully proud of their heritage.
