Josh Cappello – IHS Markit

Josh Cappello is the Sr Account Executive for Polk Audience Solutions at IHS Markit. In this role, he is responsible for advising and consulting automotive marketers across brands, agencies, and media platforms. Josh thrives from working closely with the Big Three here in Detroit and being a part of a bigger strategy to help drive overall vehicle sales through media campaigns.

Josh, a University of Michigan alumni, cut his teeth on the agency side. At Carat, he was responsible for planning and buying for in-market media as well as, DMP execution with endemic data. From there, he diversified his portfolio and went to the dark side. He spent a few years as an account manager, working across multiple verticals (CPG, B2B, Education, QSR). Before coming to IHS, Josh held the position of FCA programmatic strategist at Cadreon for a couple of years.

Over the past two years at IHS Markit, Josh has led the sponsorships of the DAA outings and participates in the Thursday night golf league during the Summer.

Daniel Geiger - GTB

Dan Geiger is GTB’s Vice President - Ford Digital Strategy and Performance Marketing. Originally from the East Coast, Geiger has been in Detroit for 20+ years passionately working with clients to develop and lead successful marketing and advertising initiatives. In his current role, Geiger leads the Ford agency team to drive best in class digital strategy, activation, and analytics.

Prior to joining GTB, Geiger was a Senior Director at Cox Automotive for seven years. Based in Detroit, he was the primary contact for General Motors, Jaguar/Land Rover, Volvo, Volkswagen, and Audi, providing strategic insights and execution for his clients and Cox Automotive initiatives.

Geiger also spent 10 years with GM at Starcom Worldwide, leaving as the agency’s Chevrolet digital director. His diverse background includes working on dealer group campaigns, multiple new-car launches, as well as a Super Bowl initiative. During his career, he and his teammates received several accolades, including recognition as an Effie Finalist, IAB Mixx Award, AdWeek Media Plan of the Year, Gold at the Internationalist’s Awards for Innovative Digital Marketing Solutions, and 140 Proof’s Top 10 Social Ad Campaigns.

Geiger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and an MBA from Ohio University. He is happily married to his wife Rachel VanHulle and has two 12-year-old daughters. If he is not at work, there is a good chance you will see him at a dance competition or gymnastics meet. Golf, rock climbing, and mountain biking are not out of the question either!

Steve Holman – CBS

Steve Holman is an incumbent member of the DAA Board of Directors, Chairman of the DAA Golf League, and Co-Chair of both the General Motors and Rocket Mortgage Classic DAA events. He is the Senior Account Executive for CBS Sports, News, Entertainment, & CNET digital Sales. Prior to CBS, Steve held SVP, Account Director positions at McCann Erickson and BBDO, and served four years in the United States Air Force living in Cambridge, England.

The quality of Steve's golf game is unfortunately not on "par" with his obsession of the game. However, with unwavering commitment to golf as much as humanly possible - he hopes to one day make his family as proud of his game as he is of his own game.

Steve attended the University of Maryland and Wayne State University and lives in Rochester Hills with his wife Dawn, their two sons Ryan and Jacob, and their new little puppy - “Bowie.”

Bela Kogler – Armstrong White

Bela Kogler is an advertising industry veteran currently employed as Director of Business Development for Armstrong White, a creative CGI studio that produces motion and still imagery for the advertising and marketing industry.

Before joining Armstrong White, Bela worked for media giant Time Inc., representing brands like Southern Living, Coastal Living, This Old House, Sunset and Progressive Farmer. He sold print, digital and broadcast media as well as experiential events.

Bela is an incumbent member of the DAA Board of Directors and is active on the Sponsorship Committee and played an integral part in designing the new DAA logo. He is a past President of the Adcraft Club of Detroit, a standing member for over 22 years, and currently serves as a committee member of the D Council, a creative group responsible for executing the D Show, Detroit’s annual red-carpet awards ceremony, celebrating the best ad work from the Detroit advertising community. He is also active on these charity boards: Project 1 and The Bear Hug Foundation.

Matt Miller – Automotive News

Matt Miller is an incumbent member of the DAA Board of Directors and has served as Prize Committee Chair for the past two years. Matt is an accomplished professional whose diverse career includes leadership roles at SiriusXM, Dodge Brand Marketing at FCA and BBDO Detroit. In his current role as Regional Manager at Automotive News, Matt works with OEMs, Suppliers and Retail Services clients across traditional, digital, experiential and custom channels for what some say is “the bible” of the auto industry.

Matt is an avid golfer who is equally admired and resented for his smooth swing and strong golf game. An active member of his church, Matt resides in Lake Orion with his wife Corinne and two teenage boys. When asked why he loves DAA…Matt replied, “In addition to the unique networking opportunities that DAA provides its membership and guests, it is the camaraderie, and the money we raise for local charities that mean the most. This is why we serve.”

Kelly Wood - Sabio

Kelly Wood is currently a Sr. Account Executive at Sabio, focusing on Auto and Non-Auto Accounts in the Midwest. Kelly began her marketing career as a sales assistant at MTV Networks and has also worked in digital sales and account management roles at Global Eagle, Jumpstart Automotive Group, Automedia Solutions, Time Inc, and Mitu.

Kelly has been very active in the Detroit Advertising community. She was Chair of Adcraft PM, and also voted in to the Adcraft Board of Directors. She was instrumental in planning and implementing various networking and philanthropic events on both boards.

In her spare time Kelly enjoys her group workouts and dinner club with the girls, skiing in the winter and boating in the summer, with her Husband, son Nick, and their Dog Vegas.
